The team behind ShapesXR are deep experts in spatial computing, professionals in design, product development and business. Together we worked on XR products like Tvori, StoryboardVR, Microsoft Maquette, MomentXR and at companies like Meta, Microsoft, Dell Technologies and Autodesk. Now we are building a freemium SaaS XR product shaping the future of spatial design.
Role Overview:
The Product Manager is responsible for both driving growth and refining the core product. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking to identify and scale growth opportunities, alongside a deep understanding of customer needs and the product lifecycle to ensure the core product evolves effectively. The Product Manager will lead efforts to transition from freemium to paid models, identify and develop killer features, and ensure customer satisfaction through continuous feedback and iteration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Core Product Development:
- Work closely with customers and users to gather requirements and feedback, translating these into product features that enhance the core offering.
- Lead the transition from freemium to paid versions, ensuring a smooth user experience that maximizes conversion rates.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to ship features that align with the product’s long-term vision.
- Identify and develop the core product’s core features, focusing on what makes the product indispensable to users.
- Growth Strategies:
- Analyze user data, conversion rates, and customer journeys to identify growth opportunities that also support core product objectives.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization, such as optimizing onboarding flows, creating viral loops, and refining pricing models.
- Align product and marketing strategies with a focus on features that support both growth and core product objectives.
- Data-Informed Decision Making:
- Utilize A/B testing, experimentation, and user feedback to validate hypotheses and prioritize features that drive both growth and core product value.
- Continuously measure and analyze the success of new features, tracking KPIs like MAUs, churn rate, CLTV, and CAC to inform product and growth strategies.
- User Feedback and Iteration:
- Engage with customers regularly to understand their pain points, using these insights to improve both the core product and growth initiatives.
- Iterate on product features based on user feedback and data, ensuring that the product continuously evolves to meet market demands.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and design, to ensure that both growth initiatives and core product developments are aligned and well-executed.
- Ensure that product changes are supported by effective marketing campaigns and that growth strategies are informed by a deep understanding of the core product.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-informed decision-making for both product growth and development.
- Experience with user research, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization.
- Ability to balance growth initiatives with the refinement of core product features.
- Examples of delivering high-quality experience to customers in fast-paced environment
- Understanding of user psychology and behavior, particularly related to product engagement and retention.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools like Google Analytics and Mixpanel.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams around both product and growth initiatives.
